Analysts anticipate further share-price gains
Micron Technology could remain in the spotlight after Stifel and Wedbush substantially raised their price targets, reflecting expectations of tighter memory supplies, higher selling prices and sustained demand from artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Both firms maintained positive recommendations on the semiconductor manufacturer and identified improving conditions across the DRAM, NAND and high-bandwidth memory markets.
Stifel raises its target to $1,500
Stifel increased its Micron target from $550 to $1,500 while retaining a Buy rating. The firm expects the company’s revenue to accelerate as average selling prices continue rising.
The strongest contribution could come from high-bandwidth memory, commonly known as HBM, alongside conventional DRAM products. Stifel also highlighted stronger pricing for LPDDR5 and DDR5 memory.
Agentic AI creates another growth opportunity
Stifel believes the spread of agentic AI systems could further increase demand for Micron’s products. These applications require substantial memory capacity to process information, execute tasks and operate increasingly complex models.
With production capacity remaining constrained, additional demand could provide Micron with greater pricing power and stronger operating leverage.
Wedbush sees target reaching $1,300
Wedbush raised its price objective from $550 to $1,300 and reaffirmed its Outperform rating. Its revised forecast is based on stronger NAND and DRAM pricing during the current quarter.
The firm estimated that quarterly DRAM price increases could approach triple-digit percentages, creating the potential for another significant improvement in Micron’s revenue and profitability.
Tight supply supports the bullish forecasts
The two analyst revisions suggest that memory-market conditions remain favorable for manufacturers. Limited supply and expanding AI investment are allowing chipmakers to charge more across several product categories.
Micron is positioned to benefit from both specialized memory used in advanced AI accelerators and conventional products installed in servers, computers and mobile devices.
The sustainability of these price targets will depend on whether memory prices continue climbing, production remains disciplined and artificial intelligence spending maintains its current momentum.
